Purpose of Report
Pursuant to 70 O.S. § 2120, the Board of Regents for the Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical Colleges submits the following to demonstrate its course of action for compliance with the requirements of this statute. This report is submitted on behalf of each of the Board’s constituent institutions, including Oklahoma State University, Oklahoma State University – Oklahoma City, Oklahoma State University – Tulsa, Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology, Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences, Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College, Oklahoma Panhandle State University, Langston University, and Connors State College.
Campus Expression Policy
The Board of Regents Policy 3.13, Extracurricular Use of Institutional Facilities, Areas or Media for the Purpose of Expression, is available on their website.
Professional Development for Students and Employees
The Board’s constituent institutions communicate policy and expectations to students and employees through educational programming provided to the faculty, staff, and students, as well as publication of policies in their respective handbooks and on their respective websites. New policies and/or updates to existing policies may also be communicated throughout the year via electronic communication.
Barriers or Disruptions of Free Expression
None of the Board’s constituent institutions experienced any barriers or disruptions of free speech during the calendar year ending December 31, 2024.
