Goal:
To reduce the morbidity and mortality of substance use disorder (SUD) and opioid use disorder (OUD) for Oklahoma’s high-risk youth and their families. The project objectives include: 1) Increase youth participation in evidence-based SUD/OUD prevention programming; and, 2) Improve youth and family engagement in positive relationship skill building. The service area is the Tulsa Metropolitan Service Area (MSA). The Tulsa MSA is approximately 25.2% of the state’s total population and six of the seven counties are designated as rural, with primary and mental health care provider shortage areas.
