Community Hospital
Community Hospital is designed to provide third or fourth-year medical students experience in all areas of community hospital care. Supervised by various physicians in the hospital setting, experiences could include:
- Emergency room
- General medicine
- Hospitalist
- Surgical care
- Specialty care as available
Community Hospital Clerkship
- Required 4-week rotation at a rural hospital in Oklahoma (available after Rotation 10)
- Locations include: Ada, Altus, Ardmore, Chickasha, Duncan, Durant, Enid, Idabel, Lawton, McAlester, Miami Muskogee, Tahlequah, Okmulgee, Okemah, Miami, Ponca City, Poteau, Sallisaw, Stillwater, Stroud, Tahlequah, Talihina, Woodward
