3. Discussion, consideration and possible vote to authorize the chair to execute a level 1 trauma affiliation agreement and to make matching fund payments to OHCA in an amount up to $8 million - ACTION

   • Approval of this item authorizes the chair to execute an affiliation agreement with Saint Francis Health System, the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences, and the OSU Medical Trust to provide medical education and training in an ACS certified level 1 trauma center in accordance with 63 OS 2021, Sections 3274 and 3278. Approval also authorizes the OSUMA CEO to notify the Oklahoma Health Care Authority of this action and authorize level 1 trauma supplemental payments and required matching payments from the emergency medicine revolving fund. These approvals are contingent on approval by all parties of the affiliation agreement. Notification to OHCA and state match payments cannot be provided prior to approval by the Board of Regents for the Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical Colleges of an agreement for residency program development between the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences and Saint Francis Health System.
