The 2019 Addiction Medicine Board Review is planned to educate physicians that are preparing for a career in addiction medicineorfor practicing physicians that want more knowledge on how to manage patients with substance use disorders. This conference will touch on a variety of topics to assist physicians that are preparing for the Addiction Medicine Board Exam. The goal of this conference is to enhance the knowledge of providers in the areas of prescribing and addiction, thereby improving patient outcomes.

AOA: The OSU-COM Continuing Medical Education office is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. The OSU-COM CME office designates this program for a maximum of 20 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.

AMA/AAFP Equivalency: Application for up to 20 Prescribed credits have been filed with the American Academy of Family Physicians. AMA/AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, credit earned must be reported as Prescribed credit, not as Category 1.

PLICO: Attendance at selected seminars qualifies the attendee for credit toward PLICO Risk Management premium credit.
