Center, biomedical research facilities, upgraded OSU Medicine clinics and an expanded
OSU Medical Center. Spanning multiple city blocks from 11th to 3rd Streets along Houston

ever in downtown Tulsa. Coming in 2025
Veterans Hospital in Tulsa
Construction is underway for the new Veterans Hospital in Tulsa, one of the anchors
of the Academic Medical District in downtown Tulsa. The 275,000-square-foot facility,
located in the former Kerr-Edmondson buildings, will serve the health care needs of
veterans living in Tulsa and northeast Oklahoma. About 65,000 veterans live in the
Tulsa area, and the new VA hospital will be able to better serve patients through
a partnership with the OSU Medical Center and residency programs with OSU Medicine.

major piece of the Academic Medical District. The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health
and Substance Abuse Services will operate the 150,000-square-foot center, which will
double the number of beds in its existing facility in Tulsa. The new Oklahoma Psychiatric
Care Center will mean expanded access to psychiatric services, some of which will
be provided by OSU Medicine residents and physicians.
