Assistant Dean, Access and Community Impact

It is with great enthusiasm that I introduce myself to the outstanding family of OSU Center for Health Sciences. I am thrilled to begin a new era as the Assistant Dean, Access and Community Impact. I am excited to lead and guide the development of student and resident-focused programs and initiatives that strengthen our values that are essential to our mission and continued excellence. The recruitment and retention of students from underrepresented and economically disadvantaged groups are key components of the Access and Community Impact Programs’ mission to promote cultural diversity throughout OSU Center for Health Sciences. We believe that a more diverse, open, and inclusive environment creates a richer experience for our entire campus. OSU Center for Health Sciences views diversity as a platform for change, growth, innovation, and developing creative solutions and strategies to enhance the success of all students. OSU Center for Health Sciences fosters a safe and welcoming campus climate that promotes and respects the human dignity of all regardless of identity, culture, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, ability, country of origin, and religion. We aim to provide a positive, caring, and respectful environment for all of our students to feel valued, ensuring a community where our many distinct voices can be expressed and heard, a community where all can thrive in the pursuit of excellence.
