Amy Harrison, MHS, PA-C (She/Her/Hers)
Clinical Associate Professor, Department Chair

Amy received a Master of Health Science as a Physician Associate from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Prior to that she attended the University of Oklahoma where she received a bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Science. She has worked as a primary care PA in both rural and urban Oklahoma. She also spent several years working in rheumatology where she was able to serve patients from all corners of Oklahoma as well as the surrounding states. She continues to provide patient care at the OSU Internal Medicine clinic. She is from rural, southeast Oklahoma and is passionate about the Program’s mission to return students to rural Oklahoma.

Zachary Fowler

Zachary Fowler, DO (He/Him/His)
Clinical Assistant Professor, Medical Director

After growing up in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Dr Fowler received his Bachelor of Science degree at St. Gregory’s University in Shawnee in 2004. Afterward, he spent one semester living in the monastery before matriculating at the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in the fall of 2005. He performed his internship and residency training through the University of Oklahoma Family Medicine Program in Tulsa, where he graduated as Chief Resident in 2012. He has since practiced in rural health and urgent care medicine as a board-certified Family Physician. Dr. Fowler achieved the status as Associate Medical Director for Occupational and Associate Health at Ascension St. John, and is a co-founder and Medical Director of the Cura for the World Free Medical Clinic in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, where he continues to volunteer regularly. He previously served as adjunct faculty at OSU-CHS from 2013-2020 in the Department of OMM and was delighted to join the faculty full-time at OSU-CHS in the Department of Medical Education in July 2023. He is passionate about running/cycling, hiking, and cheering on his two sons at all their sporting events.

Rebecca Stephen, MHS, PA-C (She/Her/Hers)
Clinical Assistant Professor, Program Director

Rebecca received her Bachelor of Science degree in 2011 from The University of Oklahoma where she majored in Zoology. She then went on to the University of Oklahoma-Tulsa where she completed the Physician Assistant Program, earning a Master of Health Science in Physician Assistant studies. She joined the faculty at Oklahoma State University with 6 years of professional experience working as a PA in family practice here in Tulsa. Rebecca is active in her community, dedicates her time to volunteerism, and sits on the Board of Directors for a local medical non-profit organization. She loves to spend time with her family, enjoying Tulsa.

Saura Douglas, MHS, PA-C

Saura received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2010. She then went on to the University of Oklahoma School of Community Medicine in Tulsa, obtaining her Master of Health Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies in 2013. Prior to joining the PA program, her clinical experience was primarily in spine surgery (neurosurgery and orthopedic spine surgery). She is involved with the Oklahoma Academy of Physician Associates (OAPA) and American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA), acting as Oklahoma delegate or chief delegate for the House of Representatives since 2018. She is a member of the PA Advisory Committee of the Oklahoma State Medical Board of Licensure and Supervision.

Dusti

Dusti Sloan, Ph.D. (She/Her/Hers)
Clinical Associate Professor, Department of Pharmacology and Physiology

Dusti received her Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from Oklahoma State University – Center for Health Sciences in 2016. Her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Biology were received from the University of Central Oklahoma. She has been a science educator for over 20 years. In 2021, Dusti joined the faculty at OSU-CHS where she teaches physiology in the Physician Assistant and College of Medicine programs. Though her research background is quite diverse, her lab currently focuses on elucidating estrogen-mediated mechanisms that control feeding and body weight regulation. Of particular interest are central nervous system pathways that control feeding, and how estrogen influences these pathways.

Kelly Murray, PharmD.

Dr. Kelly Murray grew up in Muskogee, Oklahoma, and began her academic journey at Oklahoma State University before earning her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy in 2007. She went on to complete a community pharmacy residency with USA Drug, serving patients in the Tulsa area, and later joined the OU College of Pharmacy faculty, where she spent seven years shaping future pharmacists.

Her passion for ambulatory care pharmacy, medical education, and all things orange brought her back to OSU Center for Health Sciences in 2015. Dr. Murray now serves as a Clinical Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine, where she also practices clinically. She is the Director of Student Success for the Physician Assistant Program and teaches pharmacology and other system-based courses.

Dr. Murray is board-certified in ambulatory care pharmacy (BCACP) and serves as the Department of Emergency Medicine’s Resident Research Director. She is an active member of the Oklahoma Society of Health-System Pharmacists and recently served as the organization's president. Her teaching approach emphasizes practical application, interprofessional collaboration, and clinical reasoning skills that empower students to think like providers from day one.

When she’s not in the classroom or emergency department, Dr. Murray is likely on the golf course, perfecting her swing or chasing another hole-in-one. She enjoys any chance to spend time outdoors with her husband, Carl, and cheering on their two children, Reed and Faye, as they grow into amazing young people.

Kenna Smith, MHS, PA-C (She/Her/Hers)
Clinical Assistant Professor, Director of Admissions

Kenna earned her Bachelor of Science degree in 2012 from Southeastern Oklahoma State University where she studied Biological Sciences while participating as a collegiate athlete on the women’s cross-country team. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma PA Program in Oklahoma City in 2015 on an Indian Health Services scholarship. Prior to joining the OSU PA program faculty, she worked clinically at the Family Medicine same day/urgent care clinic for the Choctaw Nation in Durant, OK. After taking on OSU PA students as a clinical preceptor, Kenna made the transition into PA education full-time in 2024 and joined the OSU PA program in 2026.  Kenna is a member of the Oklahoma Association of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She is certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

She was born and raised in southeast Oklahoma and has a passion for rural and tribal medicine. She is a proud member of the Choctaw Nation.

Hillary Gann.

Hillary Gann (She/Her/Hers)
Academic Assistant

Hillary Gann is an Academic Assistant for the PA Program. She joined the OSU-CHS PA Program in May 2026 and assists with recruitment, admissions processes, and didactic education planning. Hillary received her bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Southern Nazarene University.

Connor Kunze.

Connor Kunze (He/Him/His)
Clinical Coordinator

Connor Kunze is the Clinical Coordinator for the PA Program. He joined the OSU-CHS PA Program in April 2026. He is responsible for coordination of clinical rotations. Connor has a technical degree in 3D Design and Animation from Tulsa Tech.

Crystal Kunze, (She/Her/Hers)
Academic Assistant

Crystal Kunze is an Academic Assistant for the PA Program. She joined the OSU-CHS PA Program in May 2023. Crystal assists with didactic education as well as clinical rotations. She received her bachelor's degree in Fine Arts in Visual Communication from the University of Oklahoma.
