Virtual Care Clinic

Van used for mobile health care.

Better access to and use of primary care has been shown to improve treatment of chronic conditions and increase life expectancy. OSU Mobile Virtual Care reconnects patients to health care while providing a bridge to a primary care doctor.

About Virtual Care Clinic

Oklahoma State University Mobile Virtual Care offers convenient basic medical care visits in collaboration with OSU Extension offices. We offer care for any age group with basic medical conditions or needs, free of charge.

Who will be providing the care?

The mobile clinic will be staffed by a medical or advanced practice provider that can administer basic medical care all while assisting you in finding a primary care provider who can continue with you and become a partner in your health and wellness.

What types of conditions can be treated?

The OSU Mobile Virtual Care concentrates on non-life-threatening health conditions like common illnesses, chronic disease processes, and minor injuries through the OSU Extension office, with the goal of providing accessible care to rural communities of Oklahoma.

Common complaints or illnesses that can be treated:

  • Cold and flu symptoms

  • Earaches or ear infections

  • High blood pressure

  • Diabetes

  • Cough

  • Mild to moderate fevers

  • Skin infections

  • Minor injuries

  • Simple medication refills that bridge to a primary care provider

OSU Mobile Virtual Care is not an emergency room, but we can connect you with a primary care provider with a virtual visit at no cost. We can help connect you to a healthcare system and start you back on the path to a healthy and safe lifestyle while establishing that important relationship with a new or existing primary care provider.

OSU Mobile Virtual Care is limited to minor health situations and it is unable to provide comprehensive lab testing or imaging. There may be a need to refer you to another level of care or contact 911 for appropriate treatment.

Let OSU Mobile Virtual Care help you get reconnected to manage your health!
