Interventional Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship

Interventional Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship
Program Director Welcome
Welcome to the Interventional Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship at Oklahoma State
University Medical Center (OSUMC).
The Interventional Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship is a one-year program and accepts
one highly-qualified physician per year. This program is for fellows who have successfully
completed a Cardiovascular Medicine fellowship program.
Fellows will develop and demonstrate competence in clinical knowledge, procedural
skills, clinical judgement, professionalism and interpersonal skills. Our fellows
receive supervised one-on-one training as well as clinical independence and confidence
for entry into their own practice upon graduation.
Clinical training takes place at Oklahoma State University Medical Center and Saint Francis Hospital. Didactics include weekly catheterization conferences, book club, journal club, and
monthly morbidity and mortality meetings. Cardiology fellows will have research coordinated
through OSU Center for Health Sciences and responsibilities in an outpatient continuity
clinic.
Feel free to contact us with any questions you may have regarding the fellowship or
the application process.
Sincerely,
Steve Kim, D.O.
