Biography
My background in psychology has informed my holistic approach to pediatrics, which only increased when I learned OMT. A lifelong spiritual venture fits in there too. A recently life-threatening illness taught me a great deal, and still does. For fun, I do improv theatre, acting, improv dance, travel, and camping. I'm always happy to talk about any of these things with students or residents, and we frequently have students or residents from all over the country do rotations in my private pediatric practice.

Research Interets
I have done prior research on the effect of OMT on children with recurrent otitis media (published) and on newborns in the first six of life (unpublished). I wish to do a f/u study of that latter cohort as a ten year followup. I am convinced that using OMT in a variety of healthcare settings can have immediate and profound long-term effects.
am particularly interested in the upcoming intersection of MD's and DO's as the combined residency structure approaches. As an MD who learned OMM 27 years ago (starting with cranial!), I took the usual OMM classes with the first and second years students 25 and 26 years ago, and am on the membership committee of both the AAO and the Osteopathic Cranial Academy, both of which grapple with their relationship to MD's. I know there is an interest among MD students about what DO students learn. I would like to be a part of that process in some manner
