Biography

Jane Pritchard serves as the Director of Quality for the School of Forensic Sciences. She is the FEPAC coordinator for the School, teaches in the graduate program, and is the Manager for the Human Identity Testing Laboratory, an AABB accredited DNA laboratory that performs relationship and forensic testing. She has certifications as a Medical Technologist and as a Certified Laboratory Specialist in Molecular Biology. Before joining the OSU staff, she served as the Operations Manager at the H. A. Chapman Institute of Medical Genetics. She chaired the National Credentialing Agency's committee that established the certification examination for molecular biology technologists and is a past President of the Association of Genetic Technologists. She currently serves on the Relationship Testing Standards committee for the AABB. Ms. Pritchard received her B.S. in Medical Technology from the University of North Carolina.
