Application Information
Applicants will be considered only with the completion of an application through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) for the upcoming application year.
Applicants are required to meet the following qualifications to be eligible to interview:
- Graduate of a COCA accredited College of Osteopathic Medicine or US LCME College of Medicine
Applicants are accepted only through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Completed applications are reviewed periodically and candidates are notified when there is sufficient information to offer an interview. Interview dates are granted to qualified candidates.
Applications must include:
- Official transcript from an accredited College of Osteopathic Medicine
- All national board scores for exams taken to date
- Three letters of recommendation
- Personal Statement
Interviews
A current National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners Comprehensive Osteopathic Medical Licensing Examination (COMLEX-USA) transcript and/or US Medical Licensing Exam must be included as part of the application.
Eligible applicants will be considered for interview, ranking and appointment based on the evaluation of the Selection Committee on a rolling basis once the online portal opens in mid-September.
For students who have not rotated through our program, minimum requirements to initially be considered for an interview include: combined COMLEX or USMLE scores above the national average, published class rank in the upper half, and no failed courses during your medical school training.
Interviews are held in early January each year
Audition Rotation
Please visit the Office of Clinical Education to review the following:
- Complete the visiting student application
- Upload the required documentation
- Proof of Completed Compliance Training (eg, HIPAA, ACLS/BLS, TB test, Mask fitting)
- Letter of good standing
- Current CV and photo
- Immunization verification form
- Background check report
- Certificate of malpractice liability coverage
- Proof of health insurance coverage
- 10 panel drug screen report
- HIPAA/BBP training certificates
- Passing score on COMLEX/USMLE
- Verify that an affiliation agreement is in place with your school and OSU
Once these items have been uploaded, your file will be forwarded to the Radiology Residency Program for review. An email will be sent to the student with an approval or denial of their request.
