Wellness Workshops are provided free of charge by the Department of Wellness and are perfect for staff meetings and in-service training sessions.  A variety of topics are available, including:

  • BEYOND PHYSICAL: The effects of a good workout routine impact much more than just our bodies. In this workshop, you'll learn the benefits of exercise that extend beyond the physical dimension of wellness.
  • GETTING THE MOST OUT OF YOUR DAY: Pressed for time? Bust time management myths and learn techniques to make the most of every minute in this skill-building workshop.
  • MAKING FOOD WORK FOR YOU: Discover the basics of nutrition, the effects of a balanced diet on your body, and how you can make small changes to your eating habits that bring big benefits to the table.
  • UNPLUGGING TO RECHARGE: In this technology-driven world, learn how you can limit the amount of screen time you spend on a daily basis and improve your health as a result.

 

Presentations can be tailored to meet the needs of your staff. Most can be delivered in as few as 15 minutes or as long as one hour. (Virtual or In-Person) Customizable presentations, workshops, and events are available by request. Minimum of 5 attendees required.
