Group Fitness Class Descriptions
AEROBICS
Class consists of various types of cardio aerobics including Low Impact, Step, Cardio
Kick and Tabata that is easy to follow to enhance your cardio workout. SO IF YOU ARE
LOOKING FOR VARIETY WITH YOUR CARDIO WORKOUT, GIVE THIS CLASS A TRY!!!
CALORIE BURN
The perfect conditioning class to prepare your body for any type of fitness activity.
The functional movements that are used in the class are ideal for everyday activity,
and help prepare the body for more intense workouts. If you are looking to strengthen
your muscles, and increase endurance levels, this class is the one for you.
CORE & MORE
This comprehensive core class will target every aspect of your care, along with involving
other muscle groups throughout the class!
EMPLOYEE FIT
This program is designed for intermediate/advanced participants. These high-intensity
workouts will consist of a large variety of resistance, plyometric, and cardiovascular
exercises using various resistance equipment and bodyweight exercises.
HIP HOP STEP
With new choreography every week, this Hip Hop Class will enrich you with technique,
movement, confidence, and lots of fun. The instructor, Robyn, makes sure to pick choregraphy
that will suit and benefit dancers of all levels, and works with her student to make
sure they get better and better each week. Join this fun class today!
TAHLEQUAH RUNNING/WALKING GROUP
This group will consist of both runners and walkers looking to get fit! The distance
each day will be 5k (3.1mi). The pace will consists of both running and walking intervals
that progress as you move through program. Ultimately leading to running/jegging a
full 5k. More advanced runners will be allowed to move ahead of the group. The map
of each run will be posted beforehand.
TOTAL BODY
A strength/cardio hybrid training class targeting major muscle groups using various
equipment and body weight. This class incorporates bursts of cardio into movements
intended to help you tone all major muscles!
YOGA
This class works to develop the physical body with strength, stamina and flexibility;
the emotional body with stability, confidence and descernment; the mental body with
awareness, concentration and focus. The result is physical, emotional, and mental
tranquility, enabling one to completely relax while feeling strong, confident and
aware.
