SAC Staff Excellence Award Program
Currently Accepting nominations - Nominations are due by 5 p.m. on Thursday, October 31, 2024.
Please consider nominating a staff member who:
- Demonstrates exemplary job performance
- Exhibits honesty, integrity and loyalty to their department, campus and/or position
- Supports the university and its mission through positive interaction with the university and the community
- Encourages excellence in himself/herself and others
Who is Eligible?
Nominees must be an OSU-CHS staff member (non-faculty, exempt/non-exempt) at OSU Center for Health Sciences who are a minimum 0.75 FTE, at least funded 50% through CHS or Tulsa budget, grant, etc., service the CHS or Tulsa campus, and were hired before June 1, 2023. Immediate past recipients are not eligible.
Who can Nominate?
Any OSU-CHS faculty or staff may nominate an eligible employee.

All nominees will be recognized at the Holiday Luncheon in December. The Staff Excellence Award recipient will receive a certificate commemorating the award.

SAC Student's Award of Recognition to Staff Award Program
Currently Accepting nominations - Nominations are due by 5 p.m. on Thursday, October 31, 2024.
Suggested criteria for nomination:
- Ability to work as an effective advocate for students and student-related causes
- Availability/accessibility to students
- Work as an effective liaison between students and the university
- Effectiveness in helping students understand policies and procedures
- Record of preventing, as well as resolving problems
- Ability to carry out administrative functions effectively and efficiently
- Skills in organization and communication
- Record of working with other staff to promote efficiency and effectiveness
Who is Eligible?
Nominees must have been a staff member as of June 1, 2023. Nominees may not have been an award recipient in the past five years.
Who can Nominate?
Nominations for the award may only be initiated by currently enrolled students. A detailed nomination form should be submitted for each nomination.

Celebration
All nominees will be recognized at the Holiday Luncheon on December 13th, 2024. The StARS Award recipient will receive a certificate commemorating the award.
