In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, the OSU Center for Health Sciences will provide reasonable accommodations to students with disabilities, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and /or Section 504 of the Federal Rehabilitation Act. The purpose of providing students with such accommodations is to assure equal access to educational opportunities, not to assure academic success.

Students at OSU Center for Health Sciences must meet certain Technical Standards and fulfill the requirements of the Academic Program in a reasonably independent manner with or without approved accommodations. For more information about technical standards, students should contact their program director or academic advisor.

The Associate Dean of Enrollment Management and the Assistant Dean of Student Life (or designee) will serve on the Committee. The Assistant Dean of Student Life will provide administrative oversight and support for the Committee, including coordination of activities and communication with regard to student requests for accommodations of disabilities.
