Mission
The Physician Assistant Program at the Center for Health Sciences recruits, educates, and mentors students to provide competent and compassionate health care emphasizing increased access in rural and underserved Oklahoma.
The program places importance on fostering collegial relationships among students from various disciplines to provide professional, team-based health care.
Goals
The goals of the OSU CHS PA Program are:
Admit students from rural and underserved areas within Oklahoma to serve the mission of returning healthcare providers to these communities.
Graduate students that are competent, and well prepared for successful clinical practice.
Graduate students that value the importance of life-long learning and utilize current evidence-based guidelines.
The effectiveness of the Program in meeting its goals can be reviewed in the Program Goals Report.
