The mission of the Resident Wellness Program is to ensure the health and well-being of our medical trainees is prioritized above all else. From advocacy efforts and educational programs, to fun appreciation events and interactive challenges, we offer something for all residents to enjoy.

Mental Health Resources

Oklahoma State University is a community that cares. Mental wellness is very important – now more than ever. OSU offers a variety of mental health resources and trainings for residents.

Wellness Workshops

Wellness Workshops are provided free of charge by the Department of Wellness and are perfect for departmental meetings and in-service training sessions.

Easy Eats

Looking for some quick and simple meals to make at home? Join OSU Stillwater’s DOW for Easy Eats! They will show you how to cook several tasty meals all with common and easy-to-find ingredients.

Pete's Pet Posse

Pete's Pet Posse, OSU's Pet Therapy Program, was established as a wellness program in Fall 2013. The dogs provide wellness benefits to faculty, staff, students, residents, and even visitors.

Clinical Learning Environment – Fatigue Management, Mitigation, Duty Hours, and Wellness

Well-being (WB) The optimal clinical learning environment is engaged in systematic and institutional strategies and processes to cultivate and sustain the well-being of both its patients and its clinical care team. The delivery of safe and high-quality patient care on a consistent and sustainable basis can be rendered only when the clinical learning environment ensures the well-being of clinical care providers. The following pathways and properties reflect selected topics in this area.

TAO

Therapist Assisted Online Self-Help is a completely private online library of behavioral health resources that includes interactive educational modules and practice tools to help you understand and manage how you feel, think and act.

Wellness Support Team

The Wellness Support Team (WST) is able to quickly triage students, residents, and employees, utilize diffusing techniques, and provide immediate assistance by offering helpful resources and arranging plans for support through a time of need.
